Dog Training At Home
By working from your home with you to begin, I gain an understanding of your bond with your dog and what you would like to change moving forwards, then we work on building skills to get you towards where you want to be.
There is no age limit – no dog too big or small.
Beginning At Home Training
So, we begin with 1-2-1 lessons from your home then we can stretch out the learning into the outside world.
For new puppy owners or first time owners I can offer a meeting to make a plan with you to help you work out how to manage the most concerning things of the first few days & nights which mainly consist of:
- Getting through night training
- Toilet Training
- Crate training (if desired)
- Walking to heel training
- Recall training
- Travelling well in the car
This can even be before the puppy comes home, so that you can be prepared.

All dogs are different
The list above covers the most common concerns but all dogs and puppies are different, so we will have an opportunity to cover anything else that concerns you about your newest member of the family. Perhaps there are issues at home about jumping up, running out of the door, digging in the garden, nuisance barking, stealing, guarding and separation anxiety.
We can make a plan for any eventuality.
I’ve found that most issues that happen outside tend to stem from the home so normally we would do a first meet at home to gather information and then we plan from that point onwards what we would like to achieve and start our journey to being able to achieve it.
